We are building a swimming pool for Dojo Old Village.
The Old Village Dojo is a uniquely atmospheric place that pays homage to traditional Japanese architecture and martial arts. Located in a picturesque setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it offers ideal conditions for concentration, training and contemplation. It is the only training complex in Europe built on the principles of Japanese architecture from the Edo period, making it a true jewel and a place of pilgrimage for martial arts adepts from around the world.
The uniqueness of the Old Village Dojo manifests itself not only in its architecture, but also in the philosophy behind its operation. It is not only a place for physical training, but above all a space for spiritual and mental development. Wooden structures, carefully selected materials and attention to every detail create an aura of peace and harmony. Upon entering the dojo, one immediately feels transported back in time and space, to another culture, where values such as respect, discipline and humility are at the forefront.
Every element of the Old Village Dojo is meaningful and thoughtful. From the main training room (dojo), to the guest cottages, to the surrounding gardens, everything is conducive to tranquility and concentration. It’s a place where tradition meets modernity, and the idea of self-improvement is put into practice. The Old Village Dojo is a living monument to Japanese culture and a place that inspires you to push your own limits, both in martial arts and in everyday life.
We are pleased to announce that we are building a swimming pool in this unique location. The author of the architectural design is our architect Jakub Smolarkiewicz. The pool is being built using timeless, traditional concrete technology, and will be finished with Ezarri glass mosaics, which will perfectly match the aesthetics of this extraordinary complex. The entire project is realized in the Schonox system.
