About HESP
One contractor. From concept to commissioning.
HESP is a Polish general contractor specialising in commercial pools: hotels, spa and health resorts, municipal facilities. We are based in Kołobrzeg on the Baltic coast — one of Poland’s best-known spa towns, with a dense cluster of hotels and sanatoria with pools — and we work across the whole country.
Design, structure, pool technology, finishing and service sit with one team: an architect, a structural engineer, our own site crews, technicians and a licensed electrician. In Poland that is rare — in our 2023 market survey, nine out of ten pool companies declined turnkey projects.

Architectural, structural and pool-technology design, construction, commissioning and staff training. Our speciality: overflow basins.
Wellness
Saunas & steam rooms
Finnish saunas and steam rooms built from scratch with EOS heaters and Pego steam generators — e.g. a 30-seat sauna reaching 95 °C in 30 minutes.
Service
Plant-room service
Regular service of hotel plant rooms: water treatment, 24/7 monitoring, chemical supply and the documentation required by the sanitary inspectorate.
Supply
Equipment shop & showroom
A B2B online shop with 400+ products, a configurator that sizes a complete plant room, and a glass-mosaic showroom in Kołobrzeg.

Water
Fresh, salt, brine, therapeutic
We design and build pools for any water, at any salt concentration. Materials, sealing and technology follow its composition; the overflow circuit and disinfection follow the load of the facility.

Glass mosaic
Ezarri
Glass with practically zero water absorption, resistant to chlorine and salt. 25 mm tiles follow arches and curves without cutting. Layout and colours are designed for each facility.

Adhesive
SCHÖNOX Q6 W · in brine SCHÖNOX CF DESIGN
For glass mosaic we use at least the white, deformable Q6 W, which does not discolour the glass, applied with full support under every tile and no voids for water. In brine and sea water the mosaic is laid and grouted with CF DESIGN epoxy.

Bonded sealing
SCHÖNOX 2K DS RAPID
A two-component, flexible cementitious coating on the floor, walls and overflow edge. System tapes in corners, on arches and at every penetration through the basin.

Reprofiling
SCHÖNOX PL PLUS
A resin-modified cementitious repair mortar, water- and frost-resistant, approved for pools. It restores the geometry of walls and floor, arches and coves.

Reinforced-concrete basin
A monolith designed for water and soil pressure
New pools get a monolithic basin of watertight concrete. In renovations we break the finish out to sound concrete and assess it before rebuilding.

Under the base slab
Compacted sub-base and blinding concrete. Where groundwater is high, we design drainage and protect the basin against uplift.

A brine pool, rebuilt in 30 days.
Full renovation of the indoor brine overflow pool at the Perła Bałtyku sanatorium, for Uzdrowisko Kołobrzeg S.A. Brine attacks joints, mortars and steel, so every layer was chosen for it. The basin was broken out to bare concrete in 48 hours and rebuilt from the structure up.
